Labor Day Adventures

I have a few rather heavy posts I'm working on, but since we have compnay, I'm also enjoying an extra glass of wine each evening and taking it nice and easy. I'm so relaxed that I just don't seem to be getting around to those finishing touches. I miss this space after the long weekend, however, so I thought I would at least share a few photos from our adventures. I hope to be back with something more substantial tomorrow!

In the meantime, tell me: How was your labor day? I seriously want to know!

Our labor day was very nice actually!! We took the kids horseback riding (to consider getting lessons for the girl), the boys built a bookcase, some swimming, some reading for me, and even squeezed some art journaling in. Not bad I think! Glad you are relaxing and taking a break. I love the adorable  picture of you in your hat!!

  2. Looks like a great day! We didn't really do anything special. Hubby never works Mondays so it didn't feel terribly special to us. Although, he DID get Tuesday off work for Labor Day... We still did nothing special. It was laundry day around here.

  4. It was! Sometimes it can be nice just to have an extra day together, even if you're just doing laundry ;)

  5. Oh, what a lovely day! Our Labor Day was meh. We went to the aquarium at Coney Island, which we've never been to before: also meh. Nothing wrong with the animals, actually, but the architecture of the place is depressing. The Critter, though, saw the Cyclone, which is right next to the aquarium. That was certainly the highlight of the trip for him!
