Moments of Joy

I've been participating in This Moment with Amanda for a long time, but I love the way MJ has combined this beautiful concept with Monica's Joy Pockets. I love it so much, in fact, that I think I'll do the same. What a sweet way to reflect on the beauty of a week!

The daddy's mama is visiting, so we have had an exciting  few days filled with all manner of joys, like...

Trying on daddy's red boots from childhood
A spread of homemade Indian food so large and colorful you would have thought it was Thanksgiving (or Diwali?)

An extra day at home with the family for the daddy.

A hint of a nap routine.

Giant toddler hugs, complete with sound effects.

A clean(er) and (more) organized than usual home ... that still looks very much like it is lived in ;)

The arrival of tempeh on the island for the first time in months

Rain, thunder, lightning, and lots of water play

and this musical moment with Soule Mama
