I'm joining Monica at Bohemian Twilight and looking back on a few of the moments of joy that filled our week...

Two beach days in one week

The opportunity afforded by the grammie's visit, to enjoy life at vacation pace: afternoon coffees, leisurely prepared meals, evenings full of good wine and better conversation, and extra time to stand back and watch one playful, love-enveloped girl

Exciting news of another visitor on the way

A much needed Skype date with a dear friend and her small, handsome fellow

A thoughtful care package from loved ones far away

...and the girl adding the word "hug" to her vocabulary and using it often: with animate and inanimate objects alike as evidenced by this week's "moment to pause, savor, and remember" with Soule Mama:

    I LOVE that she hugged the beautiful statue lady, and that you captured it!! Care packages and skype dates, both are highlights that don't happen enough. 
    And I meant to tell you that I am happy for you that are settled at least for another year. Especially since Annabelle is growing so fast and comfortable in her surroundings. Your pictures show how happy and joyful she is with her life :).

    i love the vacation pace set by visitors especially in the summer. hug was one of my favourite words, such an early word and such a cute one too!

    What a beautiful tradition - what my own mama would doubtless call cultivating an "attitude of gratitude." I'm glad for your joys, and grateful for the call to remember the good things that grace our lives.
