Annabelle wants to be up at the counter all the time now, so she has become my new sous chef. It's a busy week, so we'll go wordless! Enjoy!
Side note: the "My Safe Cutter" from the Pampered Chef is *awesome.* |
Linking up at The Natural Parents Network, too!
I love that she is so interested in helping you in the kitchen! Great idea to use that safe cutter too! I'll have to get one.
ReplyDeletesuch adorable captures! tickled pink to learn of that child-friendly knife. I've been looking for something similar to have on hand to cook with the grandgirls.
ReplyDeleteScore! I'm totally getting my daughter one of those Safe Cutters in a year or two. What an awesome tool.
ReplyDeleteThat knife will be useful for years to come! She is so lovely and you too!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - this is too cute! Look at that smile. I think you've got yourself a future heartbreaker in the making with this one! :)

It's a fantastic knife for younger ones, but it works more like a saw than a knife ;) It's not sharp at all, which is fabulous for a toddler, but if your grandgirls are closer to preschool/kinder age (I'm trying to remember from photos - it seems they were a bit older!), you may prefer something else. I used to use this one in the classroom: http://www.montessoriservices.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=4423_113_224_1735 and this one for some vegetable chopping. http://www.forsmallhands.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_2_10 Both were great :)
ReplyDeleteJust don't want to steer you wrong!
Thank you! I'm sure the days are not far off when your sweet guy will want to help cook, too. I look forward to seeing your pictures! :)
