I have so loved having the new daddy at home, not just because I appreciate having help with the daily household and parenting duties, and not just because I love him a ridiculous amount, but also because of how stinkin' sweet it is to watch him with our babe. I'm so busy watching that I haven't been spending a whole lot of time blogging, but I'm sure you understand!
For the first few hours after his arrival, the babe stared wide-eyed at her daddy, as if to say, "How did you get out of the computer!?" Once she got over the initial shock, daddy quickly became her favorite playmate. She crawls to him shouting, "Dadadadadadad!" She climbs all over him. She smiles when she sees him. She even cries when he leaves the room at times. They're awfully silly together, and it makes my day. Every day.
